About Me

Archiving My Life is a blog launched in December 2023 by Linda L. Smith (she has also written under the name Linda Page). Linda graduated with a Bachelor's degree in History in 2015. She worked in journalism and food service until the summer of 2020, when she started a Master's program in Library Science. She earned her degree and married the love of her life in 2022, and obtained a graduate certificate in Archives Management shortly after. She is a student in New York University's Master of Arts program in Moving Image Archiving and Preservation, and has written and presented extensively on the need to preserve and know the archives of diverse groups of people and artists throughout time. In her free time, Linda loves reading and writing; cooking and eating vegan food; playing games; cuddling with her cat Jasmine; and exploring places new and old with her partner.
